The Australian population was 11.3 million people with each household having 4 members at an average, one in every 4 families had an XP falcon. That was a fantastic achievement. The XP was Fords first seriously built falcon (designed for the harsh Austrialian conditions under the supervision of Jim Martin from the USA). The XP launched the basis of all tough built Falcons for all conditions and still today is one of the most collectible early Falcons to buy.
